Quick Snap

It was a cold wintery day in Riverside, Ca. I was losing light rapidly. I only had a few minutes while the wedding planner was tapping her foot right behind me. I went straight to my go-to shot on a golf course, and the result was gorgeous

Cliche Kitty

So I normally wouldnt publish a “cliche” cat shot, but I figured what the heck? I shot this with my little Sony in my living room.

Shooting the latest band

As I was telling the groom and his friends to look out over my shoulder, I had the feeling I was shooting an up-and-coming country band.

Oceanside Beach Wedding

Shooting at sunset on the beach is one of my favorite situations to shoot in. You really cant go wrong. I normally combine natural and off camera lighting, and shoot many different poses. In this series, I asked the bride and groom to run from the water to the camera several times. This frame was my favorite. This shot really shows the couple’s personality, and I love it.

The Thursday Club San Diego Wedding

The Thursday Club in San Diego is a nice venue for wedding photography. It offers great sunset shooting, as well as a reception space with white ceilings for easy bounce flash. This particular shot was done with one strobe on a small light stand right in front of the bride. The strobe was triggered remotely and in manual mode.
